While you start with a high pair, fast play helps to remove as many players as possible. Slow play opening draw hands such as three to a straight or a flush. You desire to maintain other players in to make the pot odds.

Except you are playing a best draw hand, generally fold if your made hand is beaten on the board by a challenger’s up cards.
