Checking is one method of draw free poker because by checking you are bypassing a bet and you are seeing a draw for no money. Making a draw free poker is a method of slow play where one does not want others to know that they are in a better stand. Sometimes there is a semi draw free poker where the player makes a check raise. In such cases of semi draw free poker the player checks to see the probably strength of the opponent, if the opponent responds with a bet, it means they are strong and a series of string bets is a real need to make such people fold.

Draw free poker is a method of slow play poker to increase the size of the pot, it is also a kind of play where the player fishes for free card information of the opponent or an attempt to wait to see what turns next in the board to make the most appropriate decision. A check can in many cases be followed by a fold or a raise. A check can be used an evaluation parameter on whether to proceed or not in draw free poker games.
