The rules of draw poker
What is draw poker? Draw poker is played based on mathematic probabilities. At any point in time, you have a said number of unknown cards like (52 - the cards that you have been dealt with plus what you have seen).
Say in a 5 draw poker you have 5 cards dealt to you and it means that there are 52 – 5 = 47 unknown cards; and in 7 draw poker you have 7 cards dealt to you and it means that there are 52-7 = 45 unknown cards.
If you are allowed for a maximum of 3 card draws to make a hand your chances are with the first draw in a 5 draw poker you have 3 chances out of the 47 unknown cards for the card to be in your favor, if that fails you are left with just 2 chances out of the 46 cards and if that fails you are left with 1 chance from 45 cards! With every draw your percentage possibilities deplete.
The chances of winning in draw poker varies with the number of cards you want; say you have A-2-3-4-X and need a 5 to fill in the end gap chances are kind of more, but if you happen to have complicated gaps like requiring 6-X-8-X-10 you can be very sure that is it for a loss!
