What is draw poker? In draw poker the players are dealt a complete hand before the betting round begins. The strength of the hand is developed by drawing cards from the deck and replacing the cards.The first round starts with blind betting by 2 players a small blind and a big blind, before the cards are dealt. The complete hand of cards is dealt face down to all players. The players look at their cards and decide if they need to place a bet or fold. The bet is placed in the clockwise direction and the first round ends when all the betting is complete.
After the first betting round is complete, the players exchange cards with the dealer to make their hand strong. When the first cycle of draw and replacing is complete, the second round of betting is initiated. The players look at the strength of their cards after the draw and decide if they need to place a bet or fold.
When the betting round is over, each player is to show down their cards. If there is only one is player, they get the pot without having to expose their cards. If there are many players, the high ranking card wins the game! There are many variants of draw poker too!
