Draw poker games
A draw poker is one of the standard forms of poker games. Most of us would have tried the draw poker from our third grades in school when our uncles or aunts would have thought us some basic scarps of these games. This is the form of poker which mutated to several other forms which are being played in most clubs now. A draw poker is rarely played in casinos these days!
Of the several variants, the 5 card draw poker is quite common where the player builds good hands from the 5 cards. The best hand wins in draw poker. The 5 cards are dealt face down by the dealer; from the time the dealer deals the cards through the rounds when the players replace their cards from the deck in the table everything is face down and the cards are revealed only when the showdown session comes.
The flow of the game is draw poker does not differ greatly. It starts with ante, which is a small entrance fee to the pot, then it is followed by dealing of the card face down one per player until each gets 5, then follows the betting or folding or pass of the draw, followed by call and raise and discarding!
